Charleston Beerfest Announces Over 60 Breweries

Powered by REV Federal Credit Union, Premier Beer Event Brings Brewers From All Over the Region

CHARLESTON, S.C. (Date) – For the second year in a row, Charleston Beerfest will be powered by REV Federal Credit Union.  We are proud to have REV returning as the presenting sponsor of the 2023 Charleston Beerfest. REV isn’t your typical financial institution; they’re a not-for-profit financial cooperative passionate about supporting local events that bring communities together. That’s why we’ve teamed up to make this the best Charleston Beerfest yet. Join us in raising a glass to our generous partners helping #UPTHEGOOD by supporting a seriously fun event and a wonderful cause.

Lowcountry beer and music lovers have even more to celebrate as more than 60 breweries sign up for the Charleston Beerfest on September 9, making this the largest event yet. The festival allows beer lovers to sample local favorites, new IPAs, reds, ales, stouts, sours, ciders, and styles from around North and South Carolina, Georgia, and beyond. Charleston Beerfest is from 1 pm to 7 pm on Saturday, September 9, at Riverfront Park in North Charleston. Check out https://www.chsbeerfest.org/breweries for a list of this year’s brewery partners.

“We couldn’t be prouder of this list of amazing craft breweries! Not only do these breweries make great beer, but each of them is generously supporting our community and the work we do daily,” said Richard Reams, director of Development and Marketing for Palmetto Community Care. “We have our best mix yet of returning favorites as well as new breweries, so everyone is sure to find one of their favorite beers and keep adding to their list with new ones. We are so pleased to showcase the regional craft beer community at Charleston Beerfest.”

VIP tickets are sold out, but you can still snag Admission Tickets before prices increase!

General admission tickets include a commemorative festival mug and beer tastings. Tickets are currently $35 or $50 the day of the festival. A Designated Driver ticket is available for $20. Purchase tickets and learn more at www.chsbeerfest.org. Proceeds from Charleston Beerfest benefit Palmetto Community Care in its work providing complete, compassionate HIV care and prevention education awareness across the tri-county area. Parking for the event will be free. The event is strictly for ages 21 and over only.

In addition to all the Carolina craft brews, festival attendees will be treated to a wide range of food trucks and a Vendor Village featuring local artisans and craft vendors. The popular Beer Games and one music stage featured musical acts headlined by the Grammy-award-winning Rebirth Brass Band and entertainment throughout the day.
