This holiday season, help us ensure no one living with HIV/AIDS goes without the medical care, resources, and everyday support they deserve!
Dear Friends,
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your past support of Palmetto Community Care (PCC). Whether you have chosen to donate to us online or through our events or honor the memory of a loved one, please know that your support means a great deal for the critical work we do every day.
Our goal is always to help our clients find a path forward and manage this disease. We believe no person living with HIV/AIDS should go without medical care, everyday resources, and emotional support. That is what your support provides– hope that is real and tangible and hope that helps lift others out of isolation and despair.
I write to you this holiday season, asking you to open your hearts once again to Palmetto Community Care and our clients. We have continued to accomplish much this past year. We have rolled out new prevention programs to include at-home testing kits and better access to Pre-exposure prophylaxis medications that prevent the spread of the disease in people who have yet to be exposed to the virus. Through Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) funding, we have also implemented our linkage to care programs, which link those who test positive for HIV into medical care and mental health services within hours of a positive result.
We truly make a difference with such a caring community behind us. Behind every number or statistic is a name; behind every name is a story; every story PCC can be a part of is directly because of supporters like you. Our staff is dedicated and ready to face the continued challenges of the new year. I hope you will consider contributing towards helping others with a donation to Palmetto Community Care.
On behalf of all of us at Palmetto Community Care, our clients, staff, and the Board of Directors, we wish you and yours a heartfelt holiday season!
Sincerely,
Bradley Childs, Chief Executive Officer
